About Gençticaretçiler
Gençticaretciler is a vibrant student community within the International Trade and Business Department, dedicated to closely monitoring global trade dynamics and analyzing current developments in international commerce. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world business practices.
As a new but ambitious community, we strive to contribute to both academic and professional worlds through local and international projects, events, and research initiatives that foster knowledge sharing and professional development.

Our project is titled "Youth in Action for Fair Trade and Sustainability" and is dedicated to promoting fair trade principles among young people and local businesses. The project aims to raise awareness about ethical production, fair pricing, and sustainable trade practices that empower producers and strengthen communities. Through planned interactive workshops, training activities, and international exchange, participants will gain the knowledge and skills to become active advocates of fair trade and contribute to building a more just and sustainable global economy.

We are currently working on applying for the Erasmus+ KA154 project, which will focus on the intersection of gastronomy and sustainability. This upcoming project aims to promote gastro-economy and zero-waste practices in the kitchen, raising awareness among young people about sustainable food consumption, innovative cooking methods, and the economic potential of reducing waste. Through planned workshops, training, and intercultural exchange, participants will explore how culinary traditions can be combined with modern sustainability approaches to create both environmental and economic value.
